#5 Architecture Meets Football - Insights into the DFB Campus in Frankfurt am Main

In this episode, we take an exclusive look behind the scenes of the DFB Campus in Frankfurt am Main. This serves as a modern performance and youth centre for the German Football Association’s national teams. The building unites training grounds, accommodation, administration, and the academy under one long, stretched roof, and feels like a miniature city with different neighbourhoods.

Our guests, architects Kilian Kada and Dirk Lange from kadawittfeldarchitektur, offer personal insights into the challenges and decision-making processes behind the design. They explain how the campus masterfully integrates both functional and aesthetic aspects into the architecture of sports facilities.

Short of the start of the 2024 European Football Championship in Germany, this episode offers a fascinating look at the headquarters of the German Football Association.
