#13 Green Views – Redesign of the Calwer Passage in Stuttgart
How can contemporary architecture promote urban green spaces while enhancing the cityscape? In this episode of Architektourist, we explore the answer through the Calwer Passage in Stuttgart, redesigned by ingenhoven associates and Tennigkeit Fehrle Architekten. I speak with Florian Starz from Werner Sobek about the challenges of facade greening and with Siegfried Mahr from Optigrün, who provides insights into the technical implementation. Martin Goderbauer, Senior Investment Manager, discusses the economic and ecological benefits of such projects. The episode demonstrates how the passage serves as a model for integrating architecture, quality of life, and biodiversity to create sustainable urban spaces.
