#19 Experiencing and sharing architecture – A visit with Thomas Geuder at the Raumgalerie
How can architecture be experienced and building culture brought closer to a broad audience? In this special Christmas episode, we examine the topics of architectural journalism and architectural communication in more detail. My guest today is Thomas Geuder – better known as “Der Raumjournalist”.
Thomas is an architectural journalist, curator, and lecturer, and operates the Raumgalerie in Stuttgart, a venue where architecture intersects with disciplines such as art, music, and photography. We discuss the diversity of his profession, his career path, and the importance of architectural communication – especially in a time when sustainable building and respectful treatment of existing structures are becoming increasingly important.
Furthermore, Thomas tells us about the current exhibition db-Competition “Respect and Perspective – Building in Existing Structures Award 2024,” which is on display at the Raumgalerie until the end of January 2025.
